Really nice!

I gave it a 5 because it's really nice to hear something that was written by someone who understands music when wading through a lot of the crap that gets on the portal. While I think the chords could be a little more powerful, the melody is great and the mood of the piece is also very good. The instrumentation is also mastered well.

A lot of potential

This song has a lot of potential. The riffs are catchy but there is no transition and in some places beats are skipped so the listeners place in the song is lost. If you made it more fluid it would be a good song.

I wouldn't suggest using a single riff alone unless it was particularly catchy or melodic. This song really needs to be jazzed up with some harmonies because the melody doesn't stand that great alone. Once the bass comes in it's a lot better IMO.

This is pro freaking stuff :D Lots of energy and emotion and very well composed. The leveling is perfect too. You didn't have to make it quite so long since it's a loop, but since it is a loop I wont rate down for that.

A musical journey...

I remembered reading a post you made where you said your new music is a lot better than your old music and I was curious so I decided to hear your newest piece. I have to say, this is some pretty good stuff. The song itself is nothing short of epic, and I like epic things ^_^ The drums were really good, and I was starting to think that's what made the song but then you came in with some great and powerful melodies as well. I guess your new music is as you say, quite a lot better than your old :D

Keep it up you should become a professional composer.

(I very rarely give straight tens, I try to be down to earth, but this transcends a lot of what I've heard on newgrounds before.)

Thank you Alaxander ^^. I never really intended to become a professional composer, as I do this purely for fun. I don't want to start doing it for money, in fears it would in some way taint it. I realize I am not near the spot to go professional even if I wanted it, but I will reach that level, one tune at a time!

Right at the beginning, very nice effects. Once the drums and bass come in it's pretty fucking awesome :D The drums were really sweet and I liked how it got more intense as it goes on.

And what? No loops? YAY!! :D Newgrounds needs less losers that throw a bunch of crappy loops together!
